GTX Corp Comments on CES 2018, Super Bowl LII and the GPS SmartSoles on the Kardashian’s

CES HEADER18 GTX Corp Comments on CES 2018, Super Bowl LII and the GPS SmartSoles on the Kardashian’s

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – January 17, 2018 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO)an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider in the personal location, wearable and wandering assistive technology business, comments on CES 2018 and announces today that it will be presenting several of its new products at Super Bowl.

CES 2018 was filled with different areas of Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) technology that is striving to increase the health, wellness, safety, and overall lifestyle for the “Baby Boomer.”

Crunch Network Predicated:

  • Consumer brands will shift focus to the boomer generation.
  • Boomers will find part-time jobs with a purpose.
  • Healthcare will transition from the hospital to the home

This is good news for GTX Corp, as tens of millions of Baby Boomers (people born between the 1950s and mid-1960s) are beginning to hit their elderly years, providing an increased demand for technologies and overall health and wellness solutions. GTX has been at the forefront of this trending and growing sector and this year GTX showcased multiple products, including their flagship GPS SmartSoles along with the new Biometric Insoles and several other products like the Invisabelt and kids SmartSoles, expected to launch this quarter.

Alongside partner Veristride, GTX unveiled the new Biometric Insoles designed to monitor how people walk and help predict if a senior is prone to falling, which is a major worldwide problem. An estimated 2.8 million elderly people in the U.S. are treated in emergency departments for fall injuries each year. The Biometric Insoles collect movement and activity from special censors and produce data for gait analysis to provide better insight into fall risk detection and prevention.

GTX also garnered some buzz in the technology industry during CES week, as their GPS Tracking insoles were on the television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. GTX had many vendors, consumers, and fans of the Kardashian’s from around the world come by and comment, as the show had aired in the United States before CES and aired after CES in the United Kingdom.

Patrick Bertagna GTX Corp CEO, commented, “This was a significant week for GTX Corp and the first time we showcased a suite of existing and future products that expanded our offerings way beyond GPS tracking solutions for seniors afflicted with dementia and Alzheimer’s. We now have tracking and monitoring solutions for kids, the military, law enforcement, mobile workforce, athletes and with our Biometric insoles we will expand our senior target audience from the 6 million currently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s to the 72 million baby boomers in the US that need or want their mobility, activity and gait monitored.”

Due to the very positive feedback from the Biometric Insoles and their ability to also be used in a professional sports environment in order to establish walking baselines for pro athletes, GTX will be taking its products and technologies to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, Minnesota. GTX and long-time advisor Jack Brewer, discussed several opportunities for GTX and Veristride to showcase its Biometric Insole Technology throughout the various events during Super Bowl Week.

Jack Brewer, CEO of The Brewer Group, Inc. commented – “We are super excited to have GTX attend our events and various activities throughout Super Bowl week in Minnesota this year. As a former Minnesota Viking myself, I am so thrilled that that Super Bowl is being held in my backyard, and look forward to having GTX and Veristride introduce and demonstrate their new ground breaking gait analysis ‘Walking Test’technology to the sports community during the Super Bowl experience!”

Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp President of Business Development and IP licensing, summarized the week, “As a pioneer in digital healthcare monitoring and management and having filed numerous patents over a decade ago, GTX is well positioned to benefit from this industry focus. The cost and resources needed for the long term care of seniors is one of the major challenges facing governments and societies world-wide. With 72% of Boomers using Facebook and over 60% using Smartphones, this tech savvy generation is constantly looking for technology to make the lives of their loved ones as well as themselves easier and more comfortable.”

GTX Corp and Veristride Presenting Biometric Insoles at CES 2018

Also previewing new children’s GPS SmartSole® and Armatrak Rifle Tracker

Biometric Insole Header GTX Corp and Veristride Presenting Biometric Insoles at CES 2018

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – January 4, 2018 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO)an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider in the personal location, wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announced today that it will be presenting its new Biometric Insoles and previewing some of its other new products scheduled for launch in 2018, including the children’s GPS SmartSole®, GPS InvisaBelt designed for toddlers and the Armatrak GPS Rifle Tracker, at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas January 9-12. Executives from GTX and the Company’s strategic partner, Veristride, will be scheduling one-on-one appointments throughout the week.

For those interested in learning more about this ground breaking and cost savings technology can stop by Thursday, January 11 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM PST in hospitality suite 310 at the Las Vegas Westgate Tower. To schedule a meeting please send an email with CES Meeting in the subject line to info@gtxcorp.com.

GTX Corp and Veristride began collaboration in August of 2017 to develop an easy to use, nonvisible, inductive charging, wearable gait solution to analyze movement and activity, using custom sensors at the foot and biomechanical analytics and algorithms to provide gait analysis and movement which is considered a key metric in fall risk detection and prevention for people 65 and older. Gait analysis can also help detect if there is a sudden adverse reaction to new or existing medication, an undetected stroke or even early onset of dementia – all of which for seniors is vital to their wellness, longevity and quality of life, while prevention and early detection can save millions of dollars in healthcare costs.

  • Each year, 2.8 million older people are treated in emergency departments for fall injuries.5
  • Over 800,000 patients a year are hospitalized because of a fall injury, most often because of a head injury or hip fracture.5
  • Adjusted for inflation, the direct medical costs fall injuries are $31 billion annually.10 Hospital costs account for two-thirds of the total.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, commented, “Despite preventive efforts, falling continues to be a major problem for seniors both at home and in community or assisted living facilities, not to mention the tremendous cost to the healthcare industry. By simply wearing a pair of biometric insoles, we will be able to monitor a person’s activity and any change in balance which in many cases can tell us a lot about that person’s overall well-being. Seniors need to stay as active as possible, but many times due to aging, fear, loss of motor skills or loss of memory, they become sedate, which leads to a decline in overall health. Our goal is to provide seniors with wearable technologies that empower them to stay active while not compromising their safety. Being able to prevent, delay or accurately predict falls, undetected strokes, affect from medicines and even early onset of dementia by wearing a smart non-intrusive footwear device can offer significant improvements in senior care and wellness along with substantial cost savings.”

According to research by Frost and Sullivan, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is poised to reach $72 billion by 2021. Given the economic promise of IoMT, GTX and Veristride are committed to developing and launching a suite of biometric solutions embedded in insoles.

Stacy Bamberg, Veristride CEO, added, “We are excited to present and demonstrate our gait analytics technology at CES. The biometric insoles will address many important needs for the senior community and help remedy the physical, emotional and financial stresses due to falling. By providing constant symmetry information anytime and anywhere, without having to go to a doctor’s office or see a physical therapist, will help drastically improve how people live their lives and the healthcare industry manages costs.”

Seniors, as well as their loved ones and caregivers, often feel ‘in the dark’ about walking abilities and fall risks. When going through physical rehabilitation, patients often feel more comfortable walking in the physical therapist’s office or when at home healthcare therapist visits, because these skilled professionals can provide immediate feedback on symmetry etc. Loved ones and caregivers often struggle to know how to support patients, because “looking great” is meaningless to patients who are limited by their injury to sense improvement.

GTX Corp has been at the forefront of wearable technology and holds numerous patents in the field of wireless communications and embedding miniaturized electronics inside footwear. With several footwear based wearable tech products in the marketplace and more expected out this year, the Company’s patented flagship GPS SmartSole® is a perfect fit for the Veristride gait analytics and fall detection technology. The GPS SmartSole comes in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are water resistant, made with the highest quality electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.

gtxcorpreceivesfirstusgovenmentcontractforgpstrackingtechnology GTX Corp Receives Military Contract
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – September 20, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider in the personal location, wearable and wandering assistive GPS technology business, announced today that it has filed and 8K for receiving a material contract from the Department of the Air Force to supply  Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), located in Southern California, with a non-cellular, encrypted GPS technology platform in order to track personnel and equipment on the base.

Edwards AFB will be the first military base to deploy the new GPS devices which are specifically developed by GTX Corp for large scale installations and bases that need to monitor the location and movement of both human and non-human assets, but due to their remote location or lack of conventional cellular coverage, the devices need to transmit through RF technology, report latitude and longitude coordinates every second and encrypt the data. The customized devices will be enclosed in a hardened military grade encasement with the system consisting of transportable GPS trackers, repeaters, which will be strategically installed throughout the base. The Personnel/Equipment Tracking System (PETS) will have solar panels to achieve several months of battery life and a base station that collects the encrypted data for display.

Under the contract, GTX Corp will be responsible for the manufacturing, installation and ongoing maintenance and support of the PETS platform. The Company plans to start delivering parts of the contract in the coming weeks and throughout the remainder of 2017 and into 2018. All of the hardware and most of the software and firmware is expected to be manufactured and coded by the Company at its headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, commented, “Receiving our first sizeable military contract is a significant milestone for the Company and is a true testament to our teams’ collective years of experience and knowledge about the GPS tracking business. We are deeply honored to have been awarded this contract and view this as a great opportunity to develop and deliver technology solutions that at the core are designed to help save lives. Edwards AFB conducts live ammunitions testing, and hence knowing where every person and asset are on the base in real time is of vital importance. I want to conclude by wishing the Air Force a happy 70th birthday.”

In preparation for developing an ongoing relationship with the military, GTX Corp has renewed and updated its System for Award Management (SAM) and General Services Administration (GSA) entity registrations.

Known for its patented GPS SmartSole and Smartphone GPS Tracking App, GTX Corp has previously been recognized and granted numerous awards by prestigious organizations, including most recently honored as the winner of Technology Media Telcoms (TMT) News Magazine’s “Best Wearable Technology Company – USA” and “Most Innovative Tracking & Recovery Technology”, given a 4 star ranking by Able Magazine, in AARP top 10 best new technologies for seniors, the People’s Choice Award for most innovative connected device, nominated for the 100 Most Important Inventions of Mankind, exhibited in the Technology Museum of Sweden, included in Entrepreneur Magazine’s top 100 Brilliant Companies, identified by ABI Research as ‘paving the way into the next billion dollar market’ and as the 2nd Place Winner (between Microsoft-1st, and Samsung-3rd,) in the 2015 CTIA E-Tech Awards in the “Wearables, Health, Fitness & Wellness” category.

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 22, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and global provider of tracking and monitoring wearable wandering assistive technology, today announced that the Company will be exhibiting its innovative product line including its flagship GPS SmartSole®, Take-Along Tracker 3G and unveiling its new BLE SoleGuard™ at Europe’s largest integrated health and social care event, taking place at the ExCel exhibition center in London on June 28th- 29th. The Health + Care event provides an opportunity for GTX and its U.K. distributor, Possum, to showcase its suite of wearable monitoring devices for seniors to the National Health Service (NHS), local government, care homes and the voluntary sector. More than 10,000 senior health and social care professionals are expected to come together and collaborate around implementing and integrating new technology into the healthcare sector.

Possum will have various SmartSole branded banners and promotional materials showcasing the GTX Corp products in a mock-up house on the show floor, illustrating the value of smart wearables and smart homes. Phil Iles, National Sales Manager UK & Ireland at Possum, along with Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp Director of Business Development will be in attendance demonstrating the GPS SmartSole, the Take- Along Tracker 3G and the new SoleGuard ™ insoles.

“We are pleased to support another innovative wearable, non-visible tracking device housed in an insole,” said Mr. Iles. “Based upon initial encouraging customer reaction, we expect the new SoleGuard to do very well in this market and beyond.”

The SoleGuard is part GTX Corp’s ongoing IoT product roadmap which utilizes cloud computing along with low cost and extremely low power consumption technologies, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi-Fi and Radio Frequency (RF). Designed for indoor and close proximity monitoring, the Company is already looking at version 2.0, which will include a host of bio-metric functions such as vital signs, gait and activity monitoring.

Denmark distributor Tommy Rasmussen, Owner and Founder of Safecall, whom will be flying into London to meet with the GTX management team went on to say, “We believe it is critical to offer a full line of SmartSole products to our customers so that we fulfill all of their individual needs, whether it is the new short range, indoor monitoring solution like the SoleGuard or the longer range, outdoor wander recovery product like the GPS SmartSole.”

“We are excited to attend the Health + Care show and meet up with some of our European partners while demonstrating our growing suite of products to the stakeholders in the European healthcare community,” commented Mr. Duncan.

GTX Corp has been at the forefront of wearable tech for over a decade and holds numerous patents in the field of wireless communications and embedding miniaturized electronics inside footwear. The SoleGuard will be part of an ever-expanding suite of products being launched over the next year that will extend beyond monitoring and wandering recovery and into bio-metrics and home health. They will complement the Company’s flagship GPS SmartSole and will be sold alongside both the existing and new distribution channels. The U.S. launch is expected to be announced in the coming months.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO concluded, “Sensors are getting smaller, more power efficient and lower in cost while connectivity and computational power continues to increase. The combination of these technological advancements is leading us to new and exciting innovations, opportunities and markets. The mass acceptance of IoT is making it possible for physical objects (humans, vehicles, buildings, infrastructure and equipment) to seamlessly be connected while collecting and exchanging data and operating together as one. We are excited to be launching new products in new markets that are not just designed for seniors who wander, but appeal to a wider range of adults and children alike who need some type of digital oversight. By leveraging our intellectual property, footwear platform and industry knowledge we can explore implementing Sensor IoT technology as part of our strategic roadmap to expand our product offerings and reach broader market segments, from smart wearables to smart homes.”

Mr. Bertagna and Mr. Duncan will continue their travels in Europe with scheduled meetings in Germany and Switzerland to map out the second half of 2017 production, sales forecasts and other strategic European initiatives.
