Real-Time Information Sharing is Hallmark of Both Companies

DALLAS, TX – April 11, 2016 – COPsync, Inc. (NASDAQ: COYN), a leading network services company operating the nation’s only law enforcement in-car, real-time information sharing and data communication platform and the COPsync911™ threat-alert service for schools and potentially at-risk facilities, announced today that it has entered into a mutual referral agreement with GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), a global provider of a Personal Location Services (PLS) platform using wearable technologies. Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will provide joint referral and introduction services, initially targeting law enforcement agencies, care facilities, and hospitals.

COPsync is undergoing an aggressive nationwide sales expansion of its cutting-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) network. The COPsync Network™ currently has customers in approximately 79% of the 254 counties in the State of Texas and has a growing list of subscribers in Louisiana, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Subscribers to the COPsync911 threat-alert service reached 847 at the end of 2015 with the Company recently expanding its footprint into the State of New York. As part of its expansion strategy, the Company is seeking out potential business partners in complementary areas, to jointly leverage sales force efforts and marketing personnel.

GTX Corp’s flagship product, the GPS SmartSoles, provide a wearable unobtrusive monitoring and tracking solution for those who suffer from Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, TBI and other memory disorders that have a tendency to wander. GTX provides its GPS SmartSoles to law enforcement agencies to offer them to families or caregivers of people who frequently wander away. This solution alerts caregivers when the wearer moves outside a set perimeter in real-time, sending texts or emails with a direct link to a Google map plotting the individual’s exact location. This wearable technology provides peace of mind to caregivers and allows police departments to conserve valuable resources.

“Both COPsync and GTX Corp focus on providing real-time protection for our customers, and also target similar end markets creating the potential for a beneficial referral relationship. We look forward to working with GTX on ways that both companies can leverage their platforms and marketing efforts with a focus on law enforcement agencies to deliver the best in class solutions,” commented Ron Woessner, CEO of COPsync.

Patrick Bertagna, CEO of GTX Corp, stated, “We are excited to be working with COPsync, an industry leader, and a company that aims to protect people and members of law enforcement with its real-time information sharing and data communication network. Both COPsync and GTX Corp are focused on keeping people connected and safe through innovative communication and location-based technologies so working together to expand our marketing efforts makes perfect sense.”
