GTX Corp Granted 2 New Patents

Enhanced Intellectual Property Portfolio Strengthens Position

In New Era of “Wearable Tech”

Los Angeles, Calif. – March 19, 2014 – GTX Corp. (OTCQB: GTXO), a leading provider of personal location wearable technologies, was recently notified by the U.S. Patent Office that another patent has been allowed related to its innovative and potentially life saving location–based monitoring platform.

“This is a milestone event in our intellectual property roadmap,” commented Larry E. Henneman, Jr., GTX Corp’s patent counsel. “The allowed patent includes 38 claims, with 5 independent claims, directed to tracking devices and methods for remotely configuring the tracking devices. This will be the second of two patents in this family, which are significant because their claims are not limited to footwear.  The patents cover the claimed devices and configuration methods whether they are embedded in Wearables or as stand alone devices, which strengthens the Company’s already extensive IP portfolio and overall value.”  The allowed application will also serve as a basis for filing additional patent applications directed to other important aspects of the invention in the near future.

“The System and Method for Communication with a Tracking Device patents are very significant to GTX because they not only apply to our core products such as the SmartSoles, but also to other technologies which require communications to a backend platform, hence strengthening our portfolio within the wearable tech industry,” stated Andrew Duncan GTX Corp Director and head of IP strategy.

GTX has been a pioneer in wearable monitoring technologies for over a decade affording a sense of control and peace of mind in today’s increasingly hectic world. Wearable technology provides timely knowledge and information which significantly reduces the levels of stress that go with the responsibility of watching out for loved ones, such as seniors with Alzheimer’s or children with Autism, one of the core vertical channels in which GTX provides solutions and estimated to reach over 270 million people worldwide by 2050

GTX delivers solutions for this growing global audience, with cognitive memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s, dementia, Autism and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and understands the importance of keeping you connected to who matters most.

Patrick Bertagna, CEO of GTX Corp concluded, “There is widespread dependence on being “connected” to instantaneous, real-time information and these Method of Communication patents directly square up with our technology roadmap, increasing the overall GTX enterprise value.”

GTX Corp/CEO Comments on NY Senator Chuck Schumer’s Proposed Funding for Tracking Devices for Autistic Children

GTX Products Ideally Positioned to Provide Total Solution for Autistic Children

Los Angeles, Calif. – February 5, 2014 – GTX Corp. (OTCQB: GTXO) Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Bertagna, commented on the proposed legislation brought by New York Senator Chuck Schumer related to GPS tracking devices for autistic children.  GTX Corp. is a leading provider of personal location services and wearable technologies, including a patented GPS shoe for individuals afflicted with Alzheimer’s at risk of wandering.  The shoe was recognized in an exhibit of the “Top 100 Inventions in History” by the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, Sweden in 2012.  The Company is currently piloting a “GPS SmartSole” insert, which can be used in virtually any shoe, including those of children.

“All of us at GTX applaud Senator Schumer’s ‘Avonte’s Law’ proposal to provide funding for tracking technologies for autistic children,” remarked Mr. Bertagna. “The story of Avonte Oquendo (a 14-year autistic boy who wandered from his Queens, NY school in October, and whose body was found more than 3 months later) highlights the need for technologies that can locate and provide the safe return of those at risk of wandering within minutes, versus the hours, weeks, or even months that most often ends in tragedy.  These same technologies can also reduce or even eliminate the need for massive rescue operations like those seen in the search for Avonte, and which threaten to strain public resources due to the increase in aging and special needs populations in the years ahead.”

While GPS technologies can be provided in a number of formats, confusion and paranoia are among the primary manifestations of at risk populations, resulting in a need for technologies that are inconspicuous to the user.

“We know that individuals with cognitive deficits tend to remove items placed upon them with which they are unfamiliar and/or they view as a stigma issue,” states Andrew Carle, an internationally recognized expert on assistive technologies and an advisor to GTX.  “Worse, locking such devices in place can cause significant emotional distress to those with paranoia, including harming themselves in an attempt to remove the technology.  Placing GPS tracking in an insole, shoe or other discreet wearable maximizes the odds it will be in place when needed, without compromising dignity or exacerbating confusion or fear.” In addition to shoes and insoles, GTX also incorporates its GPS tracking technology in backpacks carried by children to school.

“Coupled with our unique form factor, our tracking software platform has been used in the market for several years for tracking people and high value items, with proven results,” says Bertagna.  “Through features such as ‘geofencing’, caregivers can easily program multiple perimeters, which when breached can provide automatic text or email alerts letting them know their loved one not only left a designated perimeter (home, school, or other location), but also where they actually are by providing a current Google map location. This tracking continues even if the wearer is in motion – walking, running, or even in a moving vehicle.”

“We wish Senator Schumer and his team the best in progressing their legislation, and GTX stands ready to support the cause with our wearable technology tracking solutions.”

GTX Announces Third Quarter Results

Financing and New Product Launch Positions Company for Subscriber Base Growth with a Broad Range of “Smart” Applications

Los Angeles, CA – November 19, 2013 – GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO), a pioneer in wearable technology and embedded GPS monitoring and real time tracking solutions, released the following letter to its shareholders related to third quarter results and a look ahead with new product introductions, new channel partners and increasing subscriber base strategy.

Highlights from this letter are:
· Secured sufficient financing from institutional investor through mid 2014
· Development of sales channel strategies for core product deployment
· Completed strategic agreements with Atlantic Footcare and Tracker.com
· Increased our IP portfolio

Dear Shareholders,

In the third quarter, we focused our efforts on securing the capital needed to execute on our plan, and positioning our business for high volume deployments. With our funding now secured through mid next year, our primary focus going forward is on executing our pipeline of business development. We are constantly striving to increase ways to grow our subscriber base, whether they are deployed in insoles, shoes, backpacks, containers, smart phones or the like. We generate monthly recurring revenues from our line of SMART (Satellite Monitoring and Real-time Tracking) hardware and software, which is where the long term value of our business resides. Our current results as disclosed in our September 30, 2013 filing do not detail out our base deployed devices; however, we do plan to release these metrics in 2014 as our business continues to grow.

Historically we have relied upon channel partners for sales and marketing of products that embed our technology. In the third quarter, upon securing new funding, we made the strategic decision to include and add direct to consumer (B2C) sales for certain products and markets. We expect to formally launch some of these products in the first quarter of 2014. To prepare for this launch, we have commenced development of a B2C ecommerce platform and certain marketing initiatives, including building a direct response strategy that we believe will have a significant effect on growing our brand and subscription base in 2014. In addition to our existing channels, we are also pursuing the children’s footwear market, certain cleantech programs, and new international markets such as Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

In our LOCiMOBILE subsidiary, we have also begun a new sales initiative with our TrackMyWorkForce app. We have seen an increase in our user base primarily from the pharmaceutical industry and expect this niche market to contribute to the growth of our subscription base in 2014, especially as we expand our marketing efforts and automate our ecommerce engine.

Our team remains deeply committed to the long term value of GTX Corp, our progress on corporate and strategic fronts and the ability to deliver game changing and potential life saving solutions. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to 2014.

Patrick Bertagna, CEO, GTX Corp.
