4star GTX Corp Receives a 4 Star Rating from Leading Industry MagazineThe U.K.’s favorite disability lifestyle publication, Able Magazine, has awarded GTX’s U.K. distributor, Possum, a 4 star rating for the patented wander recovery GPS SmartSole®

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August 2, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location wearable and wandering assistive technology business, and its U.K. distributor, Possum, have been awarded with a 4 star product rating for the patented GPS SmartSole® by the U.K.’s favorite disability lifestyle publication, Able Magazine,  making it the Company’s third internationally recognized award received in just the past month.

Able Magazine reviews the best products in the marketplace in order to give disabled people a bench mark to look for as they purchase new disability specific equipment and assistive technology. Products are rigorously tested in four areas and given an overall score based on how they were judged regarding the following criteria: how well the product is made and how user friendly it is, if it looks good, how innovative it is and if it represents good value for money.

Editor of Able Magazine, Tom Jamison, commented, “We take great care to see things from the disabled person’s point of view. It’s not just about how well a product works, it’s about ‘can I live with it?’ ‘Does it look good?’ Great products bring together form and function, be it a new car or a simple gadget to make life that little bit easier. It’s great when we see a cracking product like the GPS SmartSole that will genuinely help a disabled person in their day-to-day life.”

Able Magazine has been writing about disability issues and the best in disability products for over 20 years and has developed a trusted voice within the disability community. Gaining a star rating means that the product will be showcased in the publication and in front of a readership of disabled people and their caretakers who want to make informed choices regarding their purchases.

Phil Iles, Sales Manager U.K. & Eire for Possum, stated, “The reception of the GPS SmartSole has been very favorable amongst caregivers and physio therapists looking after those with cognitive disorders like Alzheimer’s and dementia. This award is a great honor and a significant step forward in the process of building product awareness and acceptance in the marketplace.”

“We are truly honored to have received such a prestigious award from Able Magazine which is such a recognized authority in the area of disability care,” commented Andrew Duncan, President of Business Development at GTX Corp. “We appreciate the recognition this brings to our innovative product line of smart wearable technology.”

GTX Corp’s patented GPS-enabled “smart” insoles are a discreet and convenient tracking and recovery GPS device that fits easily into most shoes. The GTX SmartSole delivers peace of mind for family members or caregivers by providing real-time location monitoring of loved ones including the millions of people suffering from memory impairment or wandering as a result of Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, traumatic brain injury, or other cognitive memory disability.

GTX Corp has been at the forefront of wearable technology for over a decade and holds numerous patents in the field of wireless communications and embedding location based and bio metric electronics inside footwear. With several footwear wearable tech products currently in the market place and more expected out this year, the Company’s flagship GPS SmartSole® is a stigma free, safety and security wearable technology solution placed in the wearer’s shoes that contain a GPS tracking chip connected through Telefónica SA group’s (NYSE: TEF) global cellular network that sends location information to the GTX Corp platform or app, showing the exact location of the individual wearing them. GTX Corp Exhibits GPS SmartSole® and Unveils New BLE SoleGuard™ in the U.K. at the Health + Care Event

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 22, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and global provider of tracking and monitoring wearable wandering assistive technology, today announced that the Company will be exhibiting its innovative product line including its flagship GPS SmartSole®, Take-Along Tracker 3G and unveiling its new BLE SoleGuard™ at Europe’s largest integrated health and social care event, taking place at the ExCel exhibition center in London on June 28th- 29th. The Health + Care event provides an opportunity for GTX and its U.K. distributor, Possum, to showcase its suite of wearable monitoring devices for seniors to the National Health Service (NHS), local government, care homes and the voluntary sector. More than 10,000 senior health and social care professionals are expected to come together and collaborate around implementing and integrating new technology into the healthcare sector.

Possum will have various SmartSole branded banners and promotional materials showcasing the GTX Corp products in a mock-up house on the show floor, illustrating the value of smart wearables and smart homes. Phil Iles, National Sales Manager UK & Ireland at Possum, along with Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp Director of Business Development will be in attendance demonstrating the GPS SmartSole, the Take- Along Tracker 3G and the new SoleGuard ™ insoles.

“We are pleased to support another innovative wearable, non-visible tracking device housed in an insole,” said Mr. Iles. “Based upon initial encouraging customer reaction, we expect the new SoleGuard to do very well in this market and beyond.”

The SoleGuard is part GTX Corp’s ongoing IoT product roadmap which utilizes cloud computing along with low cost and extremely low power consumption technologies, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi-Fi and Radio Frequency (RF). Designed for indoor and close proximity monitoring, the Company is already looking at version 2.0, which will include a host of bio-metric functions such as vital signs, gait and activity monitoring.

Denmark distributor Tommy Rasmussen, Owner and Founder of Safecall, whom will be flying into London to meet with the GTX management team went on to say, “We believe it is critical to offer a full line of SmartSole products to our customers so that we fulfill all of their individual needs, whether it is the new short range, indoor monitoring solution like the SoleGuard or the longer range, outdoor wander recovery product like the GPS SmartSole.”

“We are excited to attend the Health + Care show and meet up with some of our European partners while demonstrating our growing suite of products to the stakeholders in the European healthcare community,” commented Mr. Duncan.

GTX Corp has been at the forefront of wearable tech for over a decade and holds numerous patents in the field of wireless communications and embedding miniaturized electronics inside footwear. The SoleGuard will be part of an ever-expanding suite of products being launched over the next year that will extend beyond monitoring and wandering recovery and into bio-metrics and home health. They will complement the Company’s flagship GPS SmartSole and will be sold alongside both the existing and new distribution channels. The U.S. launch is expected to be announced in the coming months.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO concluded, “Sensors are getting smaller, more power efficient and lower in cost while connectivity and computational power continues to increase. The combination of these technological advancements is leading us to new and exciting innovations, opportunities and markets. The mass acceptance of IoT is making it possible for physical objects (humans, vehicles, buildings, infrastructure and equipment) to seamlessly be connected while collecting and exchanging data and operating together as one. We are excited to be launching new products in new markets that are not just designed for seniors who wander, but appeal to a wider range of adults and children alike who need some type of digital oversight. By leveraging our intellectual property, footwear platform and industry knowledge we can explore implementing Sensor IoT technology as part of our strategic roadmap to expand our product offerings and reach broader market segments, from smart wearables to smart homes.”

Mr. Bertagna and Mr. Duncan will continue their travels in Europe with scheduled meetings in Germany and Switzerland to map out the second half of 2017 production, sales forecasts and other strategic European initiatives.

GTX Corp Expands Distribution in Hong Kong and Chile and Files New Patent

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – June 14, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announces expanding distribution into Hong Kong and Chile, as well as the filing of a new patent for its wearable yet invisible, monitoring and wandering recovery GPS SmartSole®.

“We are excited to be the first company to launch the GPS SmartSole in Chile and expect that this highly innovative, discrete product will bring relief to the many caregivers across Chile who struggle to look after loved ones afflicted with debilitating diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia,” said Manuel Vargas, one of the founders of Centro de Día Damos Vida.

Founded in 2010, Centro de Día Damos Vida is the first adult day care center established in Chile specializing in people living with dementia disorders such as Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia and Lewy body dementia, providing a professional, compassionate and attentive home care program for their clients.

“After several months of testing, we are pleased to begin offering our senior residents the possibility of carrying out their normal lives while being securely and discretely monitored by our caregivers in case they wander and get lost,” said Jenny Choi at St James’ Settlement in Hong Kong. Founded by the Rt. Rev. Bishop R.O. Hall of the Anglican Church in 1949, St. James’ Settlement began as a club for boys and girls and by 2016, had 59 service points in operation across Hong Kong, with around 1,200 staff members to provide a vast range of high quality services for people of different ages and needs.

“Our new alliances in Chile and Hong Kong are part of our global distribution efforts to expand our brand and establish the patented GPS SmartSole® as the premier wandering assistive solution,” stated Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp Director of Business Development.

In addition and as part of its ongoing efforts to augment and expand its IP portfolio, GTX recently converted a provisional patent application filed last year into a new utility patent application. The patent application covers certain important manufacturing methods and structures of the GPS SmartSole® while leveraging prior filing dates.

Larry Henneman, GTX’s patent attorney, commented, “GTX Corp continues to improve and innovate around the implementation of tracking technology in wearable products like footwear. These ‘second level’ inventions clearly distinguish the pursuit and commitment of true technology developers, like GTX, from late to the party inventors that attempt to dabble in the field of wearable tech. This application builds upon GTX’s ongoing patent strategy to dominate and protect its business in the wearable tracking market with 14 patents already issued and hundreds of claims covering design and utility with priority dates going back to October 2002.”

GTX Corp has been at the forefront of wearable tech for over a decade and holds numerous patents in the field of wireless communications and embedding miniaturized electronics inside footwear. With several footwear wearable tech products currently in the market place and more expected out this year, the Company’s flagship GPS SmartSole® is a stigma free, safety and security wearable technology solution placed in the wearer’s shoes that contain a GPS tracking chip connected through Telefónica SA group’s (NYSE: TEF) global cellular network that sends location information to the GTX Corp proprietary IoT platform, showing the exact location of the individual wearing them. They come in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are water resistant, made with the highest quality German electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.

The patented GPS SmartSole® is a non-visible tracking device, initially created as a wander guard recovery solution for those at risk of wandering due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism or traumatic brain injury, designed to monitor the location and whereabouts of people afflicted with cognitive memory disorders who have a tendency to wander, become lost or disoriented. They can also be used by people at risk of kidnapping, such as government employees, journalists and corporate executives.

GTX Corp Launches New GPS Take-Along Tracker in the UK

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and global provider of personal location GPS, BLE, cellular and RFID, tracking and monitoring wearable and wandering assistive technology, today announced UK distributor Possum Ltd, a B2B Healthcare and Telehealth provider conducting business across the UK and Ireland, will begin selling the GTX Take–Along Tracker  to both consumers and business channel partners.

After several weeks of testing, Possum has placed its initial commercial order of Take-Along Trackers which are scheduled for shipping this month.

The GTX Corp Take–Along Tracker is a miniaturized, water and dirt resistant wearable GPS tracking device, robust and strong enough to handle the outdoors, but at just 3 inches long, small and light enough to fit easily in a pocket or bag, and even comes with a lanyard for wearable convenience. Additional features include:

  • 3-D accelerometer for motion sensing which promotes ultra-low-power battery saving.
  • Take-Along comes with its own charging cradle for easy wireless charging.
  • Pre-configured with patented wireless protocol’s that plug into the GTX monitoring portal

The GPS Take – Along Tracker is perfect for ensuring the safety of seniors, children and lone workers who may require some form of remote oversight. While smartphones could theoretically solve this problem, most elderly folks or children either don’t have, or forget to carry a smartphone, additionally smartphones are expensive and not very robust, but the Take – Along costs far less than a smartphone, is small and light weight, has a 2-3 day battery life and fits easily in a pocket, purse or backpack, a car’s glove compartment, motorcycle or bike. Anywhere you go the Take Along can go too.

Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp director of Business Development, stated, “As part of our growth strategy, GTX Corp plans to introduce several new products in the connected eHealth monitoring and wellness sector to its global distribution partners. Many of our channel partners have been selling our GPS SmartSoles for over a year and our now looking to us for new innovative technologies, products and services. We are very pleased to see Possum launch our new GPS Take Along and anticipate they will continue to introduce more of our products to the British market place in the near future.”

Phil Iles, Possum Sales Manager for UK & EIRE, stated “After the hugely successful launch of the GPS Smartsole product last year we were keen to explore other innovations from GTX.  Possum only adds the most reliable and innovative equipment to our product portfolio which we believe will help people to gain greater independence whilst providing loved ones with peace of mind. We found the GPS Take-Along Tracker to be a perfect fit for our growing product range.”

In 2015, it was estimated that there were 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK. Going for a walk can sometimes be a challenge for them, which can lead to getting lost or disorientated even in familiar surroundings. These distressing experiences can result in reduced activity, increased social isolation and increased caregiver stress, so any form of wearable technology that can support people to get out and move about more safely and confidently, such as the GPS SmartSoles or the GPS Take – Along Tracker can be a significant quality of life improvement.

Britain’s much-loved actress Paula Wilcox explains why dealing with dementia is a subject so close to her heart. She’s the voice behind the powerful new GPS SmartSole radio campaign running in London.

Existing GTX Corp Distributor of GPS SmartSoles for Denmark Expands into Norway

Safecall distributor signs exclusive distribution agreement for Denmark and Norway

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA –October 13, 2016 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location GPS wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announced existing Demark distributor Safecall expanded their operations into Norway and signed an exclusive distribution agreement for both countries. Safecall first launched the GPS SmartSoles in Denmark last October. Due to an increase in product demand and the recent Dementia Plan 2020 announcement by the Norwegian government, it has expand distribution into Norway and locked up exclusive rights. Safecall has already placed a blanket order of GPS SmartSoles for the remaining of the year for both Denmark and Norway and will be submitting another order to cover the first half of 2017 by end of next month.

Tommy Rasmussen, Director of Safecall Denmark ApS, said, “We are excited to expand upon the growing success we have been experiencing with the GPS SmartSole in Denmark and enter into a broader agreement with GTX Corp for Norway. Based upon the strong demand and reaction that we have received from the market and equally strong interest from the government and municipalities, we are confident that the product will have continued and growing success.”

The Norwegian government launched its Norway’s Dementia plan 2020 which provides the framework for further cooperation between state, municipalities and voluntary sector so that people with dementia can live better lives. Minister of Health, Bent Hoie, commented, “We want to enable people living with dementia to participate more actively in society.”

A survey on using GPS technology was completed and published in 2015.  Of the 200 dementia sufferers in Norway, the survey revealed that almost all experience greater peace of mind and increased levels of physical activity using GPS devices. The study forms part of the public sector innovation projects collectively known as “Trygge Spor og SamSpill (safe tracking and interaction).” The initial project began with five municipalities and 50 dementia sufferers and in 2015 it was expanded to include 18 municipalities. More or less all respondents to the survey (next of kin, GPS users, health service providers and staff at out-patient clinics and nursing homes), say that the GPS device gives them greater peace of mind. Staff at clinics and homes experience fewer conflicts and waste less time and effort in redirecting patients and keeping order on the wards. Moreover, the technology can result in financial savings in cases where sufferers are able to live for longer at home or can reside in open, as opposed to secure, nursing home wards.

As part of the plan, municipalities will be able to apply for the following grants:

  • Day activity services for people with dementia living at home under a special grant scheme administered by the Norwegian Directorate of Health;
  • Building or modernizing nursing homes and assisted living facilities with 24-hour care to take account of the needs of people with dementia and cognitive impairment through a special investment grant scheme offered by the Norwegian State Housing Bank. The design of all new buildings and modernization projects must take account of the needs of people with dementia.

Andrew Duncan, head of International Business Development for GTX Corp., stated, “We have been extremely pleased by the progress Safecall has demonstrated this past year, so when they approached us to start selling and marketing to the municipalities in Norway we immediately began negotiations granting them exclusive rights. We fully expect Safecall to hit the ground running, given the high demand and proactive measures being taken by the Norwegian government to introduce GPS-based solutions to approximately 80,000 people afflicted with dementia in Norway.”

In 2012, Alzheimer Europe estimated the number of people with dementia in Norway at 77,158. This represented 1.56 % of the total population of 4,960,482. The number of people with dementia as a percentage of the population is similar to other European countries with an average of 1.55% and in the U.S. with a slightly higher average of 1.66%.

GTX Corp’s patented GPS SmartSoles are the world’s first wearable yet invisible tracking recovery technology that are placed in the wearer’s shoes and contain a GPS chip connected through a global cellular network that sends a signal to a central monitoring website or app showing the exact location of the individual wearing the SmartSoles. They are water resistant, come in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are made with the highest quality electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.

The simplicity behind the SmartSole Platform is that when someone wanders off, becomes lost or abducted, a text or email alert is sent to a caregiver’s phone and computer with a direct link to a Google map plotting the location. Alerts can be directed to a local authority and/or a private call center to provide continuous monitoring and support.

GPS SmartSole consumer order information and 6 months interest free financing.

From  occupational therapists working within the NHS, to home care health specialists and local police authorities, the  UK is on the cutting edge of health care innovations and telemedicine technology. Now, UK healthcare providers are embracing the GPS SmartSole as an innovative and cost-effective solution that is enabling individual safety and mobility.”
