GTX Corp Launches New GPS Take-Along Tracker in the UK

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and global provider of personal location GPS, BLE, cellular and RFID, tracking and monitoring wearable and wandering assistive technology, today announced UK distributor Possum Ltd, a B2B Healthcare and Telehealth provider conducting business across the UK and Ireland, will begin selling the GTX Take–Along Tracker  to both consumers and business channel partners.

After several weeks of testing, Possum has placed its initial commercial order of Take-Along Trackers which are scheduled for shipping this month.

The GTX Corp Take–Along Tracker is a miniaturized, water and dirt resistant wearable GPS tracking device, robust and strong enough to handle the outdoors, but at just 3 inches long, small and light enough to fit easily in a pocket or bag, and even comes with a lanyard for wearable convenience. Additional features include:

  • 3-D accelerometer for motion sensing which promotes ultra-low-power battery saving.
  • Take-Along comes with its own charging cradle for easy wireless charging.
  • Pre-configured with patented wireless protocol’s that plug into the GTX monitoring portal

The GPS Take – Along Tracker is perfect for ensuring the safety of seniors, children and lone workers who may require some form of remote oversight. While smartphones could theoretically solve this problem, most elderly folks or children either don’t have, or forget to carry a smartphone, additionally smartphones are expensive and not very robust, but the Take – Along costs far less than a smartphone, is small and light weight, has a 2-3 day battery life and fits easily in a pocket, purse or backpack, a car’s glove compartment, motorcycle or bike. Anywhere you go the Take Along can go too.

Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp director of Business Development, stated, “As part of our growth strategy, GTX Corp plans to introduce several new products in the connected eHealth monitoring and wellness sector to its global distribution partners. Many of our channel partners have been selling our GPS SmartSoles for over a year and our now looking to us for new innovative technologies, products and services. We are very pleased to see Possum launch our new GPS Take Along and anticipate they will continue to introduce more of our products to the British market place in the near future.”

Phil Iles, Possum Sales Manager for UK & EIRE, stated “After the hugely successful launch of the GPS Smartsole product last year we were keen to explore other innovations from GTX.  Possum only adds the most reliable and innovative equipment to our product portfolio which we believe will help people to gain greater independence whilst providing loved ones with peace of mind. We found the GPS Take-Along Tracker to be a perfect fit for our growing product range.”

In 2015, it was estimated that there were 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK. Going for a walk can sometimes be a challenge for them, which can lead to getting lost or disorientated even in familiar surroundings. These distressing experiences can result in reduced activity, increased social isolation and increased caregiver stress, so any form of wearable technology that can support people to get out and move about more safely and confidently, such as the GPS SmartSoles or the GPS Take – Along Tracker can be a significant quality of life improvement.

Britain’s much-loved actress Paula Wilcox explains why dealing with dementia is a subject so close to her heart. She’s the voice behind the powerful new GPS SmartSole radio campaign running in London.

GTX Corp Invisible GPS SmartSole Wander Guard Technology for Safeguarding Loved Ones Who Wander Featured on AARP, Google, Verizon and CES

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA –February 9, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location GPS wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announced their award winning patented GPS SmartSoles with wander guard technology have been featured at several prominent events. Over the past few months the SmartSoles were on the Google Bus,  at several Verizon conferences,  see more here and here, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and in comprehensive AARP article discussing the major concerns for families with loved ones suffering from diseases like Alzheimer’s, autism spectrum disorder, and/or dementia, specifically the problem of wandering.

While smartphones could theoretically solve this problem, most elderly folks or children with autism either don’t have, or forget to carry a smartphone. And yet there is still considerable stigma attached to anti-wandering jewelry and accessories, not the least of which is often from patients themselves, despite how vitally important such potentially life-saving items can be, with most patients disliking or simply refusing to wear such objects. Luckily, some amazing devices that ably leap over the hurdle of going from idea to practice are now becoming more and more prevalent, with one such example, an ingenious “Invisible GPS” offering from GTX Corp. (OTC: GTXO) known as the SmartSole®, being prominently featured as the top pick in the AARP special report article. The award winning and patented assistive recovery wearable GPS SmartSole looks and feels like the sort of shoe insole you might find at a local pharmacy, but the product is actually a sophisticated miniaturized GPS and cellular – enabled tracking device that allows caregivers or friends and family to monitor the location of a loved one in real-time using an intuitive and easy-to-use Smart Locator App that delivers coordinates rendered via Google Maps.

With over 100 million people currently requiring some form of care or oversight due to cognitive impairment, a figure forecast in the 2013 World Alzheimer’s Report as nearly doubling by 2050 to over 277 million, this elegant solution provides the kind of robust, always-on geo-fencing needed to ensure the safety of loved ones, as well as caregiver’s peace of mind. While wanderers may not want to wear special tracking accessories, or they may forget to take a smartphone with them, they almost never forget to wear their shoes – a factor which makes the SmartSole really stand out as an ingenious piece of design.

The SmartSole brilliantly alleviates nearly all of the standard concerns associated with wandering and the product does so in a way that can even be easily shielded from the individual in question, meaning they do not have to bear the shame of needing such help, or the feeling of causing others an imposition. And for GTXO, the SmartSole is just the tip of the iceberg, as the company has a whole array of complete end-to-end IoT (internet of things) based solutions for this sort of tracking, all of it backed up by an extensive portfolio of patents, patents pending, registered trademarks, copy rights, and branded URLs.

The SmartSole is our flagship product, think Dr. Scholl’s meets LoJack. We make a miniaturized GPS and Cellular module and embed it inside an orthotic insole. The application is for people who have a memory disorder and have a tendency to wander, anyone with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, traumatic brain injury, etc. Currently there are over 100 million people worldwide who are afflicted with one of these debilitating aliments. Being that our module is small and robust we also imbed it inside other form factors and we are starting to look at OEM deals. And then we have our tracking App, which basically turns a smartphone into a tracking device, the application there is for mobile work force, sales people, delivery people, service business like electricians and plumbers, police officers, just about anyone that works in the field and benefits their superiors to know where they are at any time at the touch of a button. arrw red GTX Corp GPS SmartSoles News January 2017 SecuritySolutionsWatch.com and VerizonMore

Inventergy Launches Licensing Campaign for Location Based Services Patents

Over 100 companies identified that may have interest in the technology from GTX Corp, an Inventergy Innovations partner

CAMPBELL, CA — (Marketwired) – January 04, 2017 — Inventergy Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: INVT)  (the “Company”), an intellectual property licensing and innovation company, today announced that its subsidiary, Inventergy Innovations, LLC (“Inventergy Innovations”) has launched a patent licensing campaign for GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO) for its wireless location-based services intellectual property assets based on 2-way GPS tracking.

The licensing campaign is a follow-up to the definitive agreement announced in June 2016 in which Inventergy Innovations obtained the exclusive right to license or sell three of GTX’s patents — US 8,154,401, US 8,760,286 and US 9,219,978, commonly referred to as the “Comm. Protocol” family.   The licensing campaign represents the Company’s second monetization program announced by its subsidiary following the proof of concept engagement between Pabellon Power, Inc.  (a company developing magnetic based wireless power and data transfer systems) and a Fortune 100 company announced on September 27, 2016.

Joe Beyers, CEO of Inventergy stated, “In our Inventergy Innovations model we obtain exclusive rights to license or sell a partner’s patents, technology or in some cases their entire company.   We use various monetization execution models to create value for our partners and our stockholders.   In the case of GTX, our first step is to execute on this broad patent license program while exploring other potential initiatives. We are particularly excited by this GPS-based remotely configurable tracking and location devices market.  It is growing very rapidly and the wearable’s sub-segment alone is projected at $8.8 billion for 2016 and expected to grow to $12.6 billion by 2019.”

This campaign will provide companies interested in the Comm. Protocol family with substantial discounts for early adoption, multi-year commitments or higher volumes of products.  Inventergy Innovations believes that more than 100 companies are either currently using or could find value in the GTX technology.  Offer letters are being sent to the first 40 companies this week and others will be sent over the next few weeks.

GTX Corp Reports Third Quarter 2016 Financial Results

Increased Revenues, Margins, Subscribers and Distribution Partners

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 15, 2016 – GTX Corp. (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and leading provider of personal location GPS, BLE, cellular and RFID, tracking and monitoring wearable technology and wandering assistive technology, announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2016.

Q3 Highlights

  • Revenue increased 99% over 2015 comparable period
  • Subscriber revenue increased 139% over 2015 comparable period
  • Gross profit margin increased from 24% to 65% over 2015 comparable period
  • Operating expenses decreased 17% over 2015 comparable period
  • Net operating losses decreased 34% over 2015 comparable period
  • Delivered our first military test order
  • Expanded distribution into Mexico

Q3 Initiatives included increasing our customer and subscriber base, formulating our patent monetizing strategy for next year, delivering our new GPS/RF product line, exploring new BLE and RF business opportunities with our channel partners and increasing overall margins through cost reductions and better operational efficiency.

During Q3 the Company focused on basic fundamentals, such as growing revenues, improving customer service, working more closely with channel partners, exploring regional opportunities and ways to augment our GPS platform with new technologies such as low energy blue tooth and RF in regional markets and identifying new IP monetization strategies and growth opportunities for 2017.

Both RF and BLE technologies will start playing a more significant role in future product roll outs and will be part of a suite of new product offerings scheduled to come out over the next 6 months.

Our first new product using GPS and RF technology was delivered this quarter to a military base in Southern California. The Company delivered a new wide-area tracking system in the ISM 900MHz band, with 256-bit AES encryption, and up to 40-mile line-of-sight range with high-gain antennas. The system is a GPS and RF personnel, vehicle and asset tracking solution designed to provide ground situational awareness and real-time surveillance of all personnel and equipment traveling within a designated area, ranging from 2 – 200+ square-miles. Strategically deployed repeaters can extend this range and overcome “dead zones” due to rugged terrain, while the solar panels and extended battery will allow deployment of the repeaters to areas without existing power sources, making this solution ideal for military installations, oil rigs or any large area where cell coverage and or power is not available.  Both the hardware and software are designed and manufactured in house, proving the Company with vertical manufacturing to delivery capability.

On the SmartSole production front, 750 units of version 1.25 GPS modules were manufactured and 300 units of version 1.5 were ordered and will go into production in December.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, stated, “This was our 3rd quarter in a row with double digit revenue increases and a 99% increase over the same period last year. We are holding a steady positive trend of higher revenues, new revenues, higher margins, lower expenses and lower losses for both the 3 month and 9 month ending period 2016. The wearable technology industry is expected to see another big forecast jump to an estimated $25 billion by 2019 and is showing no signs of slowing down, which is very good news for GTX stake holders. Our early entry into this industry with patent filing dates going back to 2002, our brand recognition, industry knowledge and staying power is opening up incredible new opportunities for us. Limited capital is still a challenge for us to grow quickly, but we are growing and remain as committed and passionate as ever. Additionally management has elected to transfer accrued salaries into long-term convertible promissory notes, due on December 31, 2018. The total amount of salaries converted was $318,671, bringing down our outstanding accounts payable by 44%. Management will have the ability to convert up to 50% of their note into equity which is currently set at a fixed above market price, reflecting the continued long term commitment by senior management.”

For the remainder of the year, GTX Corp will continue to advance its next-gen technologies and take action aligned with its broader growth strategy, which includes:

  • Increasing sales in all product categories
  • Increasing our global subscriber base
  • Supporting our partners growth initiatives
  • Scaling and streamlining manufacturing and distribution  processes
  • Introducing new products into new markets
  • Applying for additional reimbursement codes
  • Working with local, federal and international government agencies
  • Building brand and product awareness
  • Building out corporate infrastructure to support growth in 2017

GTX Corp Reports Second Quarter 2016 Financial Results

Increased Revenues, Margins, Subscribers, Channel Partners and new IP Revenue Stream

LOS ANGELES, CA – August  16, 2016 – GTX Corp. (OTCQB: GTXO), an IoT platform and leading provider of personal location GPS wearable technology and wandering assistive technology, announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016.

Second Quarter Highlights

  • Revenue increased 36% over 2015 comparable period
  • Subscriber revenue increased 133% over 2015 comparable period
  • Gross profit margin increased from 27% to 45% over 2015 comparable period
  • Operating expenses decreased 17% over 2015 comparable period
  • Net operating losses decreased 34% over 2015 comparable period
  • Active units in the field and subscribers in over 35 countries
  • Vendor number for reimbursement in six states
  • Shipped next version 1.25 GPS SmartSole
  • Began monetizing our Comm Protocol “286” family patents
  • Received our first military test order
  • Signed research collaboration agreement with George Mason University
  • Named 25 most empowering IoT companies in 2016

Q2 Initiatives included adding new customers and subscribers – creating a new revenue stream by monetizing intellectual property assets – increasing overall margins through cost reductions and better operational efficiency.

Two new master distributors were added, one in the U.S. and the other in the UK, both of which have dozens of salespeople and resellers operating under their management. This is important to note because it will allow GTX to scale distribution in certain vertical markets or territories without adding significant overhead and operation costs.

The Company also received its first military test order for a new non-cellular, encrypted GPS technology.  The proposed solution is a battery powered, broadcast only GPS tracker using RF technology (900MHz ISM bandwidth), with a nine mile line of site (LOS) range. Both the hardware and software of this new product will be designed and manufactured in house by GTX. Prototypes are expected to be completed and shipped by next month and if the test order is successful, this product has the potential to open up new opportunities within the government sector or commercial installations that have poor or no cell coverage. In addition the Company received several new vendor numbers for GPS SmartSole medical assisted reimbursement and is now operational with these codes in six states: Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, California, Illinois and Maine.

On the production front 500 units of version 1.25 GPS modules were prepped for manufacturing into SmartSoles, making this the second production run with several enhancements and an embedded Telefonica SIM card. This version allows GTX Corp to ship SmartSoles internationally and activate the SIM card remotely from its cloud based platform. This is a significant advancement because the Company no longer needs to custom make SmartSoles for international distributors with their own SIM cards, instead international customers can order right out of inventory.

The benefits include reduced manufacturing costs, improve delivery timelines and enable GTX to bill for international data charges increasing RPS (revenue per subscriber) which is continuing to trend up with subscriber revenue up 133% adding to an overall gross margin increase from 27% to 45%.

During Q2 2016 the Company also signed a definitive licensing agreement with Inventergy Innovations, LLC, a subsidiary of Inventergy Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: INVT). Inventergy is spearheading a monetization campaign for three of GTX’s “286” family of patents and will negotiate either a license for use or a sale of the patents to potential infringers that operate in the mobile tracking and monitoring industry. These three GTX patents are not limited to any particular form factor and are applicable to any generic mobile tracking device utilizing this technology which is embedded in millions of wearable and mobile devices and deployed across numerous industries.

The mobile health and wellness market which GTX pioneered is on the cusp of a significant stride forward. Thanks to modern wearable technologies that provide the means to collect and manage health and wellness data in a more convenient and automated fashion, wearables have emerged for fitness tracking, medical condition management, wellness monitoring, and personal safety assistance, among other use cases. This represents a sizable addressable market and creates multiple licensing opportunities with a potential value for the GTX Comm Protocol “286” patents that far extend beyond the other core GTX footwear patents and into areas such as:

  • GPS watches
  • Fitness wearables that track location
  • Hand-held GPS devices
  • Tracking apps on Smartphones
  • Standalone GPS tracking devices
  • Location based platforms in general

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, stated, “As an emerging technology company, we are always pushing for better, and by most metrics Q2 improved with trends showing more revenues, new revenues, higher margins, lower expenses and lower losses. As we move forward into the second half of 2016 we expect these trends to hold but we are also cognisant of our ebb and flow, as we saw in Q1 while we were transitioning to our next version 1.25 SmartSole, implementing a new connectivity platform and crafting our IP monetization strategy. Lack of sufficient capital for inventory, human resources and infrastructure has been a challenge since our launch last year. It has limited our ability to order appropriate inventory thereby limiting our ability to grow as quickly as we would like. It has also limited our ability to hire additional personnel to support growth. We believe that our increased margins and revenues, along with the new monetization IP campaign, will begin to ease our capital shortage problem.”

Bertagna continued, “Having said that, we remain focused on building brand and product awareness on a global scale, growing our channels of distribution and increasing sales, subscription revenues and margins in all our product categories. Looking ahead in 2016, we will work closely with our distributors and new partner Inventergy to explore new revenue opportunities, work with our vendors to scale our manufacturing processes in order to lower costs, reach out to broader market segments such as adults with autism, the security and military market, work with police departments, insurance providers, non-profits, University’s and continue applying for additional medical reimbursement codes. All of this with one goal in mind – to increase our revenues, global subscriber base and build a best in class IoT platform for the millions of people all over the world who need a simple, affordable and effective tracking and monitoring solution.”
