GTX Corp Welcomes Super Bowl Champion Sidney Rice as Athlete Endorser and Brand Ambassador

LOS ANGELES, CA, June 30, 2015 – GTX Corp. (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location GPS wearable technology and wandering assistive technology business, announced that former NFL Super Bowl Champion wide receiver Sidney Rice has joined the GTX Corp family as one of the Company’s newest athlete endorser and brand ambassador.

After seven seasons in the NFL, Rice attributed his retirement in July of 2014 to concussion concerns. Since retirement, Rice has served as a voice for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) awareness and how the lasting effects of concussions can hinder overall brain health. He is an active proponent of concussion awareness, attending and speaking at the 2014 #C4CT Concussion Awareness Summit held at the United Nations Headquarters. In February of 2015, Rice announced that after his death he will donate his brain to science in the hopes of furthering concussion research and generate greater awareness of football’s long-term effects on the brain.

As an athlete endorser for GTX Corp, Rice will work hand-in-hand with the Company to provide insight and champion initiatives for both youths and adults, targeting those suffering from TBI and/or Alzheimer’s disease. Although Rice will help introduce several of the Company’s products, his focus will be on GTX Corp’s flagship product the GPS SmartSole a stigma free, safety and security proactive monitoring and tracking solution for those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, TBI and other cognitive memory ailments and have a tendency to wander.
