During the period ending September 30, 2017, the Company received a contract from the Department of the Air Force to supply Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) with a non-cellular, encrypted GPS technology platform in order to track personnel and equipment on the base. Edwards AFB will be the first military base to deploy this new GPS system developed and manufactured by GTX Corp for large scale installations and bases that need to monitor the location and movement of both human and non-human assets, but due to their remote location or lack of conventional cellular coverage, the system needs to transmit through RF technology, report latitude and longitude coordinates every second and encrypt the data transmission. The Personnel/Equipment Tracking System (PETS) will have solar panels to achieve several months of battery life and a base station that collects the encrypted data for display providing real time updates on every moving asset on the base.

Under the AFB contract, GTX Corp will be responsible for the manufacturing, installation and ongoing maintenance and support of the PETS platform. The Company plans to start delivering parts of the contract in the coming weeks and throughout the remainder of 2017 and into 2018. All of the hardware, software and firmware is expected to be designed, manufactured and coded by the Company at its headquarters in Los Angeles, California. GTX has also design the PCB boards in house in order to keep tight control of the entire design and manufacturing processes.

The Company also partnered with ORBCOMM Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBC), to provide connectivity and distribution in the U.S. for its new Verizon GPS SmartSole(r) product which will operate on the Verizon nationwide network.

The Company signed a collaboration agreement with Veristride, Inc., a company that specializes in gait movement and analysis using custom sensors at the foot and biomechanical analytics to provide feedback on how people walk, run and move. Under the agreement GTX will incorporate its inductive charging technology, look at ways to enhance and miniaturize the electronics, develop a Low Energy Blue Tooth (BLE) gateway and embed the final hardware assembly into a SmartSole. The two companies also plan to explore having GTX do the commercial manufacturing of the products that are currently in development. The business value of analyzing gait and gait technology is significant in fall risk detection and prevention, medication reaction, undetected stroke and early prediction of dementia. Being able to accurately monitor changes in gait/stride or activity levels specifically for seniors can have a major impact on their morbidity and mortality. Despite extensive preventive efforts, falling continues to be a major problem for seniors both at home and in community living facilities. Being able to accurately predict falls, strokes or early onset of dementia by wearing a smart non-intrusive footwear device can offer significant advancements in senior care and wellness. We are on track to have prototypes and working samples by the end of the year and both companies have already received interest from health institutions looking to pilot this innovative technology or to provide grant money.

The Company also partnered with TruSense which combines wireless sensors, Amazon Echo Dot and GPS Technology including GTX’s GPS SmartSole(r) to track daily activities, health patterns and variables, to address the needs of an entire family. This is GTX’s first entry into the Smart Home business and links the GPS SmartSoles with the Amazon voice activated Echo Dot. A TruSense user can ask Alexa where is grandma and receive a voice reply, “Grandma is at 117 W 9th St. in Los Angles California.”

The Company also formed a strategic alliance with HeartMath(r), Inc., an acknowledged world leader in stress and resilience technologies. Dr. Deborah Rozman, President of HeartMath Inc., has worked with thousands of health professionals, and hundreds of hospitals and clinics and through the partnership we created a health guide now available to the GPS SmartSole caregivers which are looking for tools that can help them cope with the physical, emotional and many times financial stress which comes from 24/7 caregiving.

As expected we have now received the first prototypes of The SmartSole lite, which are being developed for lower disposable income markets and more of general population use, and plan to begin field testing in December and go into production in Q1 2018.

On the IP front, Inventergy continues to solicit licensing agreements and has hired a law firm to start litigation with several identified companies in the GPS industry.

Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, commented, “This was a fruitful quarter for us in terms of new business and product development. We added a new product line and vertical channel with our PETS military platform. We expanded our SmartSole platform by adding the bio metrics gait analysis and with the development of a smaller lower cost GPS Smartsole both expected to launch in Q1 2018. We also formulated new partnerships with Orbocom, Verizon, Veristride, TrueSense and HeartMath. And we made significant progress on our IP monetization campaign and overall IP portfolio, more news to come shortly. While revenues grew at a modest pace, we still managed to accomplish a lot in business and product development, while lowering our operation costs, increasing subscribers and subscriber revenues, lowering our cost of goods and growing product and service margins. As we drive towards cash flow positive by adding more subscribers we are also evaluating new opportunities to create additional revenue streams from all our assets. I want to thank our team, shareholders, stakeholders, partners and vendors for your continued support.”

GTX Corp. Is Bringing IoT to Everyone with a New Online Store – Equities.com

GTX Corp. Is Bringing IoT to Everyone with a New Online Store Equities.com

The IoT market is exploding. A recent report revealed the global Internet of Things (IoT) market spend will grow from $625.2 billion in 2015 to $1.29 trillion in 2020 — with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.6%. This week, Dell Chairman and CEO made news when he announced that his company would be setting up a new research and development division that will invest $1 billion in intelligent technology.

One driver behind IoT growing so rapidly happens to be because the technology works fluidly with many corners of the business world. An area where its impact is already being felt is in the healthcare field, specifically helping to protect our growing aging population. GTX Corp. (GTXO) is an award-winning company in the space that develops cost-efficient and wearable IoT technology that is improving the quality of life and safety for senior citizens.

The company is best known for their GPS Smartsole® product, which is a smartphone-connected GPS tracker embedded in the insole of a shoe, think Dr. Scholl’s meets Lojack. As Bloomberg reported earlier this month, over 45 million Americans will be caring for 117 million seniors by 2020, and even major players like retail giant Best Buy (BBY) are making significant investments to sell products and services that enable adults to remotely monitor their aging parents. This is exactly the type of technology that GTX specializes in.

Furthermore, the Bloomberg report estimates that remote monitoring for senior care alone represents a $50 billion market.

GTX Corp’s patented GPS SmartSoles, the world’s first wearable yet invisible tracking technology, are placed in the wearer’s shoes and contain a GPS module connected through a cellular network that sends a GPS location to a central monitoring website or app. The product was initially created as a wander guard solution for those at risk due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism or traumatic brain injury and have a tendency to wander or become lost or disoriented. They can also be used by people at risk of kidnapping, such as government employees, journalists and corporate executives. Patrick Bertagna, GTX Corp CEO, commented, “This is a significant step forward for us, and working with the ORBCOMM team has been exceptional. This partnership provides us with Verizon nationwide connectivity, access to the ORBCOMM and Verizon sales channels and the ability to provide large-scale enterprise billing through the ORBCOMM platform. We are truly excited about this launch and partnership, and my sincere appreciation goes to the GTX engineers, along with the ORBCOMM and Verizon team that worked diligently to make this happen.”

GTX Corp is attending Mobile World Congress in San Francisco this week and will have samples of the new Verizon GPS SmartSoles for demonstration.

GTX Corp Invisible GPS SmartSole Wander Guard Technology for Safeguarding Loved Ones Who Wander Featured on AARP, Google, Verizon and CES

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA –February 9, 2017 – GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location GPS wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announced their award winning patented GPS SmartSoles with wander guard technology have been featured at several prominent events. Over the past few months the SmartSoles were on the Google Bus,  at several Verizon conferences,  see more here and here, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and in comprehensive AARP article discussing the major concerns for families with loved ones suffering from diseases like Alzheimer’s, autism spectrum disorder, and/or dementia, specifically the problem of wandering.

While smartphones could theoretically solve this problem, most elderly folks or children with autism either don’t have, or forget to carry a smartphone. And yet there is still considerable stigma attached to anti-wandering jewelry and accessories, not the least of which is often from patients themselves, despite how vitally important such potentially life-saving items can be, with most patients disliking or simply refusing to wear such objects. Luckily, some amazing devices that ably leap over the hurdle of going from idea to practice are now becoming more and more prevalent, with one such example, an ingenious “Invisible GPS” offering from GTX Corp. (OTC: GTXO) known as the SmartSole®, being prominently featured as the top pick in the AARP special report article. The award winning and patented assistive recovery wearable GPS SmartSole looks and feels like the sort of shoe insole you might find at a local pharmacy, but the product is actually a sophisticated miniaturized GPS and cellular – enabled tracking device that allows caregivers or friends and family to monitor the location of a loved one in real-time using an intuitive and easy-to-use Smart Locator App that delivers coordinates rendered via Google Maps.

With over 100 million people currently requiring some form of care or oversight due to cognitive impairment, a figure forecast in the 2013 World Alzheimer’s Report as nearly doubling by 2050 to over 277 million, this elegant solution provides the kind of robust, always-on geo-fencing needed to ensure the safety of loved ones, as well as caregiver’s peace of mind. While wanderers may not want to wear special tracking accessories, or they may forget to take a smartphone with them, they almost never forget to wear their shoes – a factor which makes the SmartSole really stand out as an ingenious piece of design.

The SmartSole brilliantly alleviates nearly all of the standard concerns associated with wandering and the product does so in a way that can even be easily shielded from the individual in question, meaning they do not have to bear the shame of needing such help, or the feeling of causing others an imposition. And for GTXO, the SmartSole is just the tip of the iceberg, as the company has a whole array of complete end-to-end IoT (internet of things) based solutions for this sort of tracking, all of it backed up by an extensive portfolio of patents, patents pending, registered trademarks, copy rights, and branded URLs.

The SmartSole is our flagship product, think Dr. Scholl’s meets LoJack. We make a miniaturized GPS and Cellular module and embed it inside an orthotic insole. The application is for people who have a memory disorder and have a tendency to wander, anyone with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, traumatic brain injury, etc. Currently there are over 100 million people worldwide who are afflicted with one of these debilitating aliments. Being that our module is small and robust we also imbed it inside other form factors and we are starting to look at OEM deals. And then we have our tracking App, which basically turns a smartphone into a tracking device, the application there is for mobile work force, sales people, delivery people, service business like electricians and plumbers, police officers, just about anyone that works in the field and benefits their superiors to know where they are at any time at the touch of a button. arrw red GTX Corp GPS SmartSoles News January 2017 SecuritySolutionsWatch.com and VerizonMore
